Spa Treatments: If your pet enjoys the luxuries of a day spa, then your pet will love the skin treatments offered by Just 4 Paws. Our Spa uses the finest botanical plant and flower extracts offered by the SPA Lavish Your Pet collection, formulated products to enhance your pets well being.

Additional Spa Services: We offer a wide range of added services that many grooming shops do not or can not offer. We pride ourselves for being a fully trained staff in all of the grooming arts.

• Aromatherapy -Pet Aromatherapy involves the use of various therapeutic grade essential oils which are extracted from medicinal plants.  The essential oils may be inhaled by your dog's powerful nose, using one of a few delivery methods.  The essential oils then quickly get to work in the limbic system of the brain, for such purposes as gentle sedation, easing motion sickness or many other benefits.  Aromatherapy also provides amazing benefits for the healthy skin and coats of our furry friends.  There are several essential oil blends designed to defeat and prevent ear infections, heal hot spots, and repel fleas and ticks.  Be on the lookout for our essential oil-based, natural calming dog shampoos and conditioners, designed to set the stage for a peaceful and relaxing groom. Available at Just Four Paws beginning August 2009.
  

• Reiki- Reiki is Japanese for "universal life energy". It is a gentle method of hands-on healing that taps into the energy referred to as "ki" in Japan, "chi" in China, and "prana" in India. The practice of Reiki is based on the teachings of Mikao Usui, who practiced and taught healing techniques in early twentieth century Japan. Usui’s development of Reiki was most likely inspired by his early spiritual training, including the study of Buddhist healing arts. Over the next century Reiki spread throughout Japan, and then the world.Reiki is not massage, hypnosis or a tool for diagnostic illness. It is a technique that addresses both chronic and acute conditions, gently and powerfully promoting balance. The gentle art of Reiki draws on universal life energy to benefit people of any age and in any state of health; the same can be said of their animal counterparts. Whether at home, at a pet spa, or veterinarian, sessions adapt easily to any situation. • Reiki is administered in the Pet Spa in Lyndhurst.  The rates are $40.00 for a 20 minute session or $60.00 for a 30 minute session.
