Gentle Handling: Excessive force is never used! Dematting: We will not demat a pet. Excessive dematting is a painful and inhumane process, which goes against our gentle handling policy and contradicts the stress-free environment we advocate. We will always ask permission to shave your pet’s coat before doing so. Safety: Your pet’s safety and comfort is of our highest concern. The Just 4 Paws grooming experience is always completed in a safe, organized, clean and hygienic environment. Pet Temperament: Although most pets are well behaved, we realize some are not “perfect angels”. We welcome meeting these different personalities types as part of our job. However, for the benefit and safety of all, we reserve the right to refuse service to pets we feel pose a danger to themselves, the groomer or another pet client. Cancellation Policy: We request that Cancellations be made within a minimum of 24 hours of the originally scheduled appointment. In the event of a "No show" for a confirmed, scheduled appointment, you will be billed for 50% of that groom’s rate. We reserve the right to request Credit Card Deposits from those clients who habitually (3 or more times) cancel appointments at the last-minute or with no notification. Mobile Grooming Weather Policy: Because we are a mobile grooming service, you receive the added benefit of having your pets groomed even during inclement weather. The only time we will suspend service is during active ice and snow storms. However, once the roads have been cleared we will resume our normal schedule. Just 4 Paws will always call you in advance of your appointment to determine the best course of action. Payment Accepted: At the grooming shop we accept Cash and all Major Credit Cards except American Express. In the mobile grooming service we only accept Cash. We will kindly request a credit card deposit for first-time mobile clients only. Once you have become a regular client we no longer observe this policy. This is simply to ensure that a client keeps their appointments when we arrive.
